Gregory A. Gallo, CPA/PFS, CRPC®
Gregory A. Gallo, CPA/PFS, CRPC® began his professional career in 1992 in the Financial Services Division of the Audit Group at Ernst & Young LLP. After spending nearly four years at E&Y, Greg moved on to Wall Street to work for a boutique investment bank, first as a financial advisor and subsequently as the firm's Insider Research Analyst. Shortly thereafter, Greg co-founded The Opus Group at Garden State Securities, Inc., a private wealth management practice focusing on the needs of affluent investors. With his accounting background, PFS (AICPA's Personal Financial Specialist) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) credentials, Series 7, 27, 86 and 87 licenses at Garden State Securities Inc., and both life and health insurance designations, Greg takes pride in his ability to understand an investor's broad range of financial needs. Over the years Greg has seen the devastating impact that bear markets can have on retirements plans and thus focuses on both core and satellite strategies to help investors achieve their long-term goals. Greg graduated from The College of New Jersey Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting and completed the Executive Education Retirement Strategy Program at the University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School.

Kevin J. DeRosa
Kevin's Wall Street career began as a stockbroker nearly 20 years ago. In 1999 Kevin joined Garden State Securities, Inc., eventually purchasing the firm in 2004 Kevin maintains the Series 7, 24, 55, 63, 65, and 87 securities licenses, and in 2007 earned the Certified Financial Planner designation. Working closely with his brother Mark, a 10 year veteran of Major League Baseball and member of the 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, Kevin utilized financial strategies that would help turn Mark's short athletic career into lifetime financial security. Kevin has been able to apply these same principles to the individual investor. Kevin received his B.S. in Business Management from Southern Connecticut State University.

Mr. Gallo brings Senior Executive-Level experience and a skill set that combines investment banking knowledge with that of a business owner and entrepreneur.
From 2003-2009, Mr. Gallo was a co-founder and Managing Director of Moneta Capital Advisors. Moneta was a merchant banking organization headquartered in New Jersey. Moneta provided business solutions and advisory services to private and public companies as well as making investments from its own source of funds. From 2001-2003, Mr. Gallo was President of Kirlin Securities, Inc., a New York- based investment banking and financial service firm, with 300 registered representatives in 8 branch offices throughout the United States. Kirlin Securities' product mix included a combination of traditional investment strategies and alternative investments; including private placements and initial public offerings. Mr. Gallo became President of Kirlin Securities as a result of its acquisition of M.S. Farrell & Co., Inc. From 1991- 2001, Mr. Gallo was a co-founder of M.S. Farrell & Co., Inc., a Wall Street based investment banking firm with over 250 registered representatives, at its height. Over the course of 10 years, he held senior management positions including Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. M.S. Farrell had a strong focus on the origination and funding of private placement transactions for micro and small cap companies. Mr. Gallo was involved in all areas of operating the firm including administration, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, sales and investment banking. During that period of time, M.S. Farrell raised in excess of $500 million for their investment strategies. From 1985- 1991, Mr. Gallo held both sales and trading positions at a few financial institutions including Shearson Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns & Co.
Mr. Gallo graduated from Fordham University in 1983 and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and 2 children.
