Thomas A. Gallo
Tom brings a career to The Opus Group at Garden State Securities that has spanned 25 years. Over that career, Tom has always had a focus on High Net Worth investors and satisfying their needs. Specializing in growth investments, Tom has monitored corporate insider purchases and has used this discipline as a catalyst for building stock portfolio since 1992.
Being a co-founder of the investment bank and brokerage firm, M.S. Farrell & Co. in 1991, Tom held senior management positions which included Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. During his 10 year tenure at Farrell, Tom was responsible for the day to day operations of the company including managing the firm’s sales force and overseeing their investment banking operations. All the while, he tended to a select high net worth client base. After orchestrating the successful sale of M.S. Farrell to Kirlin Securites on September 4, 2001, Tom took over the role of President of the 8 office national firm. After leaving Kirlin in 2003, Tom decided to leave the securities industry to pursue a number of interests which would enable him to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit. From 2003- 2009, Tom was an Executive Producer of HATS, an Off- Broadway musical that had played in Denver, Chicago and Harrah locations in New Orleans and Las Vegas; real estate developer; merchant banker and a management/business consultant.
Seeing many similarities in today’s current economic climate to 1991, when Tom co-founded M.S. Farrell, he has decided to reenter the securities industry. He takes pride in his 25 year career and will utilize all of that experience on round 2 of his securities industry career.
Tom holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses at Garden State Securities Inc. and graduated from Fordham University in 1983.
